When can I visit the kittens?
If you live within driving distance, you are welcome to visit after the kittens have received their first baby vaccination at around 8 weeks of age.
When do you send photos and videos of kittens?
Photos and videos are typically shared at around 8 weeks of age with individuals who have completed a phone or in-person conversation and are on our waiting list.
At what age are kittens ready to go to their new homes?
Kittens are usually ready to go home between 12 and 14 weeks of age, typically when they weigh about 3 to 4 pounds.
Why do your kittens stay with their mother longer than some others?
Keeping kittens with their mother and littermates longer helps them develop better social skills, gentler behavior, and allows for a smoother, less stressful transition into their new home.
Do you allow third-party pickup or shipping?
No, we prefer to place kittens face-to-face and do not allow third-party pickups or unaccompanied shipping.
What if I live out of state?
If you are traveling, you may fly into Eugene (preferred) or occasionally Portland. We will meet you at the airport so you can bring your kitten home safely in the cabin.
Can a kitten fly home with me?
Yes. Kittens fly in-cabin with their new owner. An airline-approved carrier and an under-seat pet reservation are required.
Do you ever use pet couriers?
As a last option, a known and trusted professional courier may sometimes be arranged, but in-person placement is always preferred.

All transportation and travel-related expenses are the responsibility of the buyer.
How much do your kittens cost?
Pet kittens are typically placed in the $1,200 to $1,500 range, depending on availability, season, and desired coat color or pattern.
Are some coat colors more expensive?
Yes, certain colors and patterns—especially Silver Tabbies—are often priced at the higher end due to demand.
Do you offer retired adult cats?
Occasionally, retired show or breeding cats may become available and are placed in carefully selected loving homes.
Are kittens sold with breeding or show rights?
Most kittens are placed as pets only, meaning not for breeding or exhibition, unless specific arrangements are made.
Do kittens come with a spay/neuter agreement?
Yes, pet kittens are placed with a contract requiring spay or neuter at approximately 6 months of age.
Why aren’t kittens altered before going home?
Early altering for non-shelter cats is not readily available here in Eugene OR. Many breeders and veterinarians believe it is generally safer to wait until the kitten reaches at least 5 pounds.
What should I feed my new kitten?
A high quality commercial diet labeled for ‘growth/kittens’ or for ‘all life stages’. Kittens need both wet and dry food fed 3X/day at first along with dry food left for self-feeding and fresh water. Any diet changes should be made gradually.
Do you recommend pet health insurance?
Yes, pet health insurance is recommended. A referral may be available that includes 30 days of free coverage, and the new owner can choose the plan that best fits their needs.
